Employee Benefits

Outagamie County offers a competitive benefits package to eligible employees. At the present time, benefits account for a sizable portion of the total compensation costs - approximately 42%. A wide range of benefits are offered including; life insurance; long term disability insurance; multiple options for health insurance coverage; dental insurance; and the State of Wisconsin retirement plan for public employees. Eligible employees also enjoy generous sick leave, vacation, holiday and personal holiday benefits. In addition, Outagamie County offers a voluntary deferred compensation (Section 457) plan, flexible spending accounts through a Section 125 Plan, and direct deposit.
