Persons are of age to marry without parental consent at age 18. Between 16 and 18 years of age, you are required to submit signed consent forms of both parents or guardians at time of, or prior to application.
The fee for the marriage license is $90.00 in Outagamie County. Prices may differ slightly in some counties. The county portion of this fee is non-refundable. Sorry, no credit cards - cash or check only. The 5-day waiting period will not begin until the fee is paid.
Upon making application, a 5-day waiting period is required before the license may be issued, excluding the day of application. The license is good for 30 days from issuance date. There is a six-month waiting period for remarriage after granting a divorce judgment.
