The mission of
the Outagamie County Department of Health & Human Services is to promote
healthy, independent individuals by:

Protecting the community and vulnerable individuals;

Fostering self-sufficiency;

Providing education, prevention, early intervention,
treatment, and rehabilitative services;

Managing public funds efficiently and effectively.

of Health & Human Services is committed to assisting people in Outagamie
County achieve health, safety, wellbeing and self-sufficiency.
Divisions



On July 3, 2006, the Department of Health & Human Services opened an Aging
and Disability Resource Center (ADRC). This Center offers adults,
families, and the community a single source for information and assistance
plus individualized service planning to enhance self-sufficiency and quality

BadgerCare Plus is a new program for children under 19 year of age and
families in Wisconsin who need and want health insurance. BadgerCare Plus is
for all kids, regardless of income. BadgerCare Plus is about more than
just kids. It also offers access to comprehensive, affordable health care to
working families and pregnant women in Wisconsin. BadgerCare Plus is
designed for people who do not currently have access to health insurance. It
is not designed to replace private insurance.
