          Environmental Health & Sanitation            


The goal of the environmental sanitation program is to prevent food and water-borne illnesses by licensing and inspecting public facilities.  Licensed facilities include:

To obtain a license application or to answer questions regarding the above facilities, contact the Outagamie County Public Health Division at (920) 832-5100. 

The Environmental Health unit regulates the above establishments under agent contracts with the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (WDATCP), Wisconsin Department of Health and Family Services (WDHFS), Wisconsin Department of Commerce (WDCOMM) and Department of Public Instruction (WDPI).

The Environmental Health unit licenses and regulates establishments within the borders of Outagamie County but outside the City of Appleton.
