PREGNANCY TESTING
Pregnancy tests are available to
women who live in Outagamie
County. The pregnancy
test is performed in Maternal Child Health Health/WIC office for a $5.00
fee. Contact Outagamie County Public Health Division at (920)
832-5100 and ask for the intake nurse.

PRESUMPTIVE ELIGIBILITY
Presumptive eligibility is a temporary medical assistance (MA) card that
can be used to receive prenatal care at a doctor's office and prescription
prenatal vitamins. It is available to pregnant women
who
live in Outagamie County and
who fall within certain income guidelines.

The primary goal of Prenatal Care Coordination
is to help pregnant women get the support and services they need to have
a healthy pregnancy.
Services offered:
- Help women begin prenatal care early.
- Offer personal support.
- Provide information on pregnancy, childbirth
and infant care.
- Provide information on good eating habits
and health practices.
- Find needed services in the community.
Questions that a nurse can answer:
- When should I go to a doctor?
- How will I get to the doctor?
- What will labor and delivery be like?
- Why is it so important that I breastfeed my
baby?
- What other community resources are available
to me?

Home visits are made
by a Public Health Nurse to new mothers.
Public Health home visits include:
