Outagamie County Signs Contract for VisionAIR's Public Safety Suite(r)

Castle Hayne, NC-April 13, 2006-VisionAIR(r), a leading provider of public safety and criminal justice software, announces a new contract with Outagamie County Sheriff's Department in Wisconsin. The department purchased products from VisionAIR's Public Safety Suite(r), including:

VisionRMS, law enforcement records management system; VisionMOBILE, wireless information solution; and VisionLMS, learning management system. Additionally, Outagamie County Sheriff's Department purchased custom solutions, MNHS to access legacy data, and third-party hardware and services.

VisionRMS' base package includes System Administration, Case Records (Arrest, Case Management, Incident, IBASE Reporting, and Juvenile Custody), Administration/Personnel, Bike Registration, DMV, Budget, Citations, Civil, Gun Permits, Imaging, Log, Parking Tickets, Pawn, Towing, Vehicle Impound, and Warrants.

Additional

modules are available for Intelligence, Equipment Maintenance, and Bar Coding. Data entered into VisionRMS is automatically available to other products in the Public Safety Suite.

VisionMOBILE keeps Outagamie County Sheriff's Department deputies in the field connected with access to VisionRMS records information from their laptops. Over a wireless network, through a powerful message switch, deputies can run queries against VisionRMS and state and federal data stores. Running communication over a secure wireless connection protects sensitive data from unauthorized access.

VisionLMS is an online web service designed to manage, track, and quantify training related events such as web-based training (WBT), instructor led training, continuing education, and certifications.

VisionLMS offers a secure environment to access the VisionAIR Public Safety Suite WBT and third-party courses, such as the Microsoft Office Suite, in addition to agency-specific documentation through user-friendly web interfaces.
